Contrary to a Threads account’s posts, 15 businesses and two celebrities have not stopped posting on X — 13 post actively and four post sporadically.
The companies listed in the account’s posts included broadcasting and entertainment companies such as CBS, Lionsgate, Marvel, Paramount and Sony Pictures, and retail corporations such as CVS Pharmacy, The Home Depot and Walmart. The list also included singers Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift.These posts were flagged as part of Meta’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed.
