The Gauteng Traffic Police is urging motorists to exercise extreme caution and remain vigilant when driving, especially when approaching pedestrians. This warning comes after two pedestrians were killed after being struck by vehicles on the N1 freeway near Grasmere in Johannesburg within a one-hour period.
He appealed to drivers to adhere to the rules of the road, avoid reckless behaviour, and prioritize the safety of others, especially vulnerable pedestrians.
