The Canadian housing market is rapidly shifting towards a sellers' market, with limited buyers' opportunities remaining. TD Cowen analysts highlight key stock picks for 2025 across various sectors.

If you blinked, you probably missed the buyers’ market in Canadian homes as BMO senior economist Robert Kavcic notes,

“The sales-to-new listings ratio in Canada’s residential housing market rose to 59.2 in November, well into the high end of balanced territory. Market conditions continue to vary by region and segment, but most are tightening. In fact, no outright buyers’ markets remain among 23 major cities we track. The Prairies and much of Atlantic Canada continue to stand out with the tightest markets in Canada.

The stocks are Abbvie, Agios Pharmaceuticals, Alamos Gold Inc., Alliancebernstein Holdings L.P. , Amazon.com, Apogee Therapeutics, Arc Resources Ltd., Atkinsréalis, Axis Capital, Bath & Body Works, BJ’s Wholesale Club Holdings, Bombardier Inc., Booking Holdings, Boston Scientific, Brookfield Corp , Burlington Stores, California Resources Corp, Canadian Natural Resources Ltd., Cascades Inc.
