Bolanle Yusuf, a prominent Nigerian businessperson, encourages Nigerians to celebrate Christmas and New Year despite economic challenges, emphasizing the importance of gratitude in all circumstances.

A business mogul and vice chairman of KAM Holdings, Bolanle Yusuf, said that Nigerians have every reason to be happy. Yusuf also said that despite the hardship experienced by citizens, there is cause to celebrate Christmas and New Year. Speaking during the company's 2024 Christmas Carol Programme in Ilorin, Kwara State, Yusuf said that citizens should appreciate God for keeping Nigeria together as one country.

She said, “As we celebrate this year’s Christmas, it is especially important to give thanks to God regardless of our reality or situation of life. Apostle Paul reminds us in 1st Thessalonians 5:18: ‘In everything, give thanks; for this is the will of God in Jesus Christ for you.’ “This verse highlights that thanksgiving is not conditional; it does not rely on whether our circumstances are favourable or challenging,' Yusuf said. She added that in every situation, we are called to trust in God’s purpose and express gratitude for His presence and guidance. According to Yusuf, her message speaks to both Christians and Muslims alike
