This comes as Deputy Police Minister Paulley Boshielo is scheduled to visit the North West province to assess the Safer Festive Season Operation Shanela today.On 27 December 2024, 10 illegal miners resurfaced at Margaret Shaft and in the early hours of this morning 11 miners resurfaced at Buffelsfontein shaft no 10.
She adds: “On Christmas day, we had 12 and on Boxing Day we had six, yesterday the 10, early this morning, another 11. Most of them were from Buffelsfontein shaft number 10 that’s resurfaced this week.”
