President Donald Trump on Saturday said that he will 'immediately' seek more funding from Congress if the employee retention programs included in the $2 trillion coronavirus relief bill run out of money.

President Donald Trump on Saturday said that he will "immediately" seek more funding from Congress if the employee retention programs included in the $2 trillion coronavirus relief bill run out of money.

The legislation signed late last month allocated $350 billion for a loan program for businesses with fewer than 500 employees. Businesses can apply to have the portion of the up-to-$10 million loans used on payroll forgiven. "This is money that's really going directly to the people who need it, the small businesses who need it, and the workers that need it," Trump said during a White House briefing on COVID-19. "When we open, we want to open strong with businesses that are going."

Congress comes up with the idea, someone else has to implement and they are the last to learn what they have to do.

Why? Oh magical thinking

HouseGOP HouseDemocrats marcorubio You are the Chair of Small Business & Entrepreneurship ! I am not hearing anything about the entrepreneurship aspect of the Bill. Let’s do a quick run down of the Math - I was not a proponent of certain companies/sectors getting money...

Great interview Andrew andrewrsorkin! You have awesome acoustics on your home set! Did you consider that when you picked that room and spot? Much better sound than most. Keep up the good work!

You certainly do “have some issues,” marcorubio.

Andrew asked:'what if small biz won't take that loan if this goes on for several months' Rubio like:'I'm not sure'?that's very discouraging.Trump would be like:as long as I'm president,I won't allow that to happen.

SenRubioPress Marco is panicked watching his base sick and dying. Groping for a positive

Little Marco's just gonna ladle out the Big B.S. This whole 'program' hasn't been around long enough to make any determination about it's adequacy.

If fiscal conservatism and smaller government doesn’t work in all cases, then it ceases to be a viable ideology.

Turns out BankofAmerica call center and online chat aren't aware of the new change in requirements. They still refuse to help my small business get the SBA PPP loan. And I am a BoA customer.

Marco's hair plugs look good this morning.

Marco is a hack!

If it runs out? I’m still trying to get all the paperwork done!

Only if they pay workers

Democrats agree, so long as they can add money for abortions

Hmmm. It's already out.

He is trying to maintain his f.cked governance but he won't be able to do that despite bad situation

And that's a good thing. Isn't it. Say: 'Thank you President Trump.'
