According to Max Brown, chairman of the board of directors for Events DC, the agency generates a lot of revenue from restaurant and hotel taxes. But many of the industry's workers have been furloughed, laid off, or otherwise have lost work. Undocumented workers are included in the relief package because of the impact they have on tourism in Washington, D.C., he added.

Brown says that the reason they can offer up so much money is because they have been saving money in reserves for unexpected events.

No money to illegal immigrants 😡

IF AN UNDOCUMENTED WALKS THEIR KID MILES IN DESER HEAT, THEY HEROS.... IF A BLACK CITIZEN WALKS HIS CHILD ON A HOT SUMMER DAY WITH NO WATER FOR MILES IN THEIR OWN COUNTRY THE CHILD PROTECTIVE SERVICES PEOPLE WOULD ARREST THE BLACK PARENT AND TAKE AWAY THE CHILD. UNFAIR!!!

HAVING UNDOCUMENTED PEOPLE OVER HERE JUST ENCOURAGES IDENTITY THEFT..... IF AMERICA WONT GIVE THEM SOME KIND OF MIGRANT ID NUMBER AND TAX THEM, WHY ARE THEY HERE? TO BE FRANK, THE UNDOCUMENTED HAVE MORE RIGHTS THAN BLACK PEOPLE WHO ARE CITIZENS IN AMERICA, THATS INSANE!

If they are doing that why not make them documented and allow them to legally work in the US.

If you paid into the system, the system should now pay you.

Undocumented workers are the backbone of this entire country !! 💗

what about undocumented people who don’t work?

Send them back to their own crap 💩 holes instead.

Just FUCKING WOW!

I once was doing business in a particular town without having the required business license. A town official noticed me and informed me that i was an”illegal business “. Apropos of nothing I suppose.

Meanwhile Americans are out of work

For those folks that are mad that these workers are getting help, maybe you should also direct your attention and anger to the American business owners that hire them and never get arrested while these poor folks get deported and lose their savings. noshame

🤦‍♂️

Good!

How many work for Trump, Org.?

These folks are also in some states the backbone of the agriculture business....

Awesome! They deserve the aid 100%. 👏🏼👏🏼
