Facebook and Google both said Thursday they were removing the video from their platforms due to rules against "unsubstantiated" claims about coronavirus.Misinformation has continued to run rampant online despite platforms' efforts to enact policies against it and quickly remove harmful content.

Mikovits could not be reached for comment, while producers of the video did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

But mainstream media is allowed to say anything they would like?
