“We see Vienna and Hong Kong introducing testing at airports as an alternative to quarantine.
Quarantine does not stop business, it stops unnecessary travel! The world can live without air travel or tourism for 3 months. We have to plan properly, then if we remove the threat of the virus we won't need a 2nd wave shutdown. The major problem is the lack of Govt planning.
Going to do wonders for Johnson and Patel in their bid to eradicate immigration to the UK. Perfect addition to all their other toxic anti immigration moves
Short of testing everyone who comes in What is the alternative? Is Heathrow prepared to pay for testing everyone if they don't want the 14 day Quarantine? quarantine Heathrow COVID19 lockdown BAA lovetotravel travelincovidtimes
why is anybody flying anyway?
It will be safer until a vaccine is available lives before ££
If the UK is safer, would be more business! It’s not the quarantine measures to stop the business... 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🙄🙄
Heathrow instead of whingeing do what the rest of the country has got to do, re-think, re-design & accept there will be a reduction in the economy The days of ever expanding are over there will be less passenger traffic & probably less freight adapt or you will fail
41 years of monetarism closed Britain to business
££££ more important than lives!
It should have happened long ago.
In other words its ok for other businesses to close for the greater good, but not us. We are more important! Doubt they need to worry. Tories will see them ok.
prepares to announce...I mean how long have they been discussing this... so we are still allowing people in without a 14 day quarantine!?
Why cant we follow SE Asia, they are working on a system of no quarantine for visitors from countries with similar infection rates and controls.
Wait for it!!
Along with crashing out of Brexit !
You still have airports open, whats wrong with the tories
Is not the lockdown closing Britain to business as well then!
What Heathrow meant was “Heathrow airport warns government’s quarantine plans will ‘close *Heathrow* to business’
