. In a new case summary filed by Bryant on Monday, she is asking for substantial compensation from Island Express Helicopters, and claims the family lost"hundreds of millions of dollars" in lost earnings from her husband's death, according to court documents obtained by ET.
"As a result of Kobe Bryant’s and GB’s deaths, Vanessa Bryant seeks economic damages, non-economic damages, prejudgment interest, punitive damages, and other relief as the Court deems just and proper," the summary states. In its claims, the lawsuit also cites several areas where Zobayan may have been negligent. The lawsuit also alleges that Island Express Helicopters had"advance knowledge of the unfitness" of Zobayan due to a previous violation in 2015.
This Lady lost her husband and daughter! No money could ever replace that lost. However, the company should pay for the bad decisions of the helicopter pilot.
Kobe knew of the pilot's records and he was informed of in clement weather but he chose to take a risk. Wrongful death charges may be a force to be reckoned with.
Terrible to think of her husband that way. He took the risk to fly. It was an accident. She’s selfish to ask a company for more money. He left money.
Gold digging bitch
In case you needed proof that VanessaBryant is a money hungry little gold digger, she is suing the family of the pilot who died with and because of her husband for HUNDREDS of millions of dollars. I guess since her cash cow died she needs to make sure she can still get the bag
Is that all she thought about her husband - a moneymaker? Kinda tacky if you ask me! 👎
God bless these families please. I hope they all recover what is right. This pilot should not have taken off in 65% ceiling of fog. No visibility or detection of ground surfaces available. Just very irresponsible. Mrs Bryant you do what you must. Others will do the same.
So it’s all about the cash.
Kobe left her a literal fortune. It was an unfortunate accident, of course, but girl leave room for the other families that lost loved ones to sue also. Sheesh.
Always comes down to $$$.
I get it, but to ask a small company to produce “millions” of future earnings is unfathomable.
