Getting kids to eat a nutritious, balanced diet has been a challenge to parents for as long as there have been kids. Add to that the new obstacles many of us are facing at home from the current global situation, and daily meals are almost too much to handle. Luckily, a number of companies offering home delivery of kid-friendly foods has cropped up in recent years, making meal- and snack-time a breeze instead of a battle.
I know this from personal experience. Ordinarily my family eats home-cooked food for almost every meal, but during the upside-down days of the coronavirus when we’re all home and on top of each other, getting healthy food on the table has become much harder. Which is why delicious, well-rounded, ready-to-eat meals that require minimal prep are extremely helpful.
Since when was pastry and / or mashed potato, 'healthy' foods to give children? Unusual for Forbes to publish such articles. My child thrived and grew strong and fit on fresh fruit, vegetables and lean cuts of meat and fish, not 'rubbish' like that!
