The advertiser boycott was initially started by civil rights groups to protest Facebook's handling of President Donald Trump's posts in the wake of George Floyd's death, as well as the spread of misinformation and hate speech on the platform. But ad executivesthat, for most advertisers, boycotting Facebook is less about politics than brand safety.
"Pulling money out isn't meant to be a punitive action towards Facebook," Elijah Harris, the senior vice president of paid social at IPG Mediabrands, said last month. "It's more for us to assess, as marketers and arbiters of our brands' equity, whether we should continue defaulting to a platform that stands in opposition to consumer sentiment today.
He shoould pay for that. He is using my social network innovation illegally. German communists did not get rights, can not allow. Could not be copyrighted and implemented. Forged documents do not make that legal. If he does not like to pay, Facebook is a bunch of criminals.
I assume this is going to hurt their stock asking price a lot when the next ER comes around?
Shame on all the brands to gang up just so they don’t get questioned. Let there be cyber police in every state to handle issues happening on Facebook in their jurisdiction and let them question the one who post false info & not the platform? How much can one code and check?
