The food industry wants governments to encourage people to get back to pre-COVID-19 activities

A coalition of business groups is calling for “urgent action” from all levels of government to save the food service industry amid the economic fallout from the“Many businesses are now working to reopen and recover,” wrote the group — which includes Molson Coors Beverage Co.

Why didn’t/doesn’t the government pay these companies to prepare meals for the food banks shelters, hospitals, LTC and various other charities getting donations of wasted food from these suppliers- it provides jobs for the industry and its supply chain
