Lyra Health attains unicorn status at over $1 billion valuation - Business Insider

Given that Lyra is one of the first mental health startups to attain unicorn status, we expect it will use its new funding to broaden its therapy services

$110 million in Series D funding, elevating its valuation to a whopping $1.1 billion. The California-based company offers services for employers to include in health plans like virtual visits with mental health providers and digital exercises to enhance behavioral therapy sessions — and it's added 800,000 membersLyra Health earns unicorn status at $1.1 billion valuation.

We think employers will prioritize digital mental health services within the next year to curb long-term spending — and Lyra's unicorn status will cement its position as a frontrunner to attract more deals.
