"Carson attended the election night party at the White House.
Carson is one of several people in President Donald Trump's orbit, including Trump himself, who contracted the virus, which the World Health Organization declared a pandemic in March. The White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows, told associates last Wednesday that he tested positive for COVID-19.
The Los Angeles Times reported that many White House and campaign officials and those who attended the election night party were not informed about the diagnoses and only found out when they were reported in the media.
