The Selayang Magistrate’s Court here today extended for another day the remand order against a director of a chemical supply company for investigation into the odour pollution in Sungai Selangor.
The man was previously remanded for seven days from last Friday for investigation into the odour pollution at the raw water source in Sungai Selangor which led to the closure of the Sungai Selangor Phase 1, 2 and 3 and the Rantau Panjang water treatment plants. Prior to this, four individuals, including two directors of a roadworks construction company, were remanded in connection with the same incident.
