Pretoria – The South African Liquor industry will not be supporting any festive season celebrations and events in order to aid the government’s efforts to curb the second wave of the Covid-19 pandemic.
It also noted its members would not become involved in or associate themselves with any activities that had the potential of attracting crowds that exceeded the regulation restrictions of 50% capacity at a venue.

Let's hope the government will take into consideration the Liquor Industry's gesture when the President makes his announcement

I owe you an apology to ever doubt your sincerity and professionalism. It’s was just like a dream to me when I received my first payment. After my second payment it became a reality now after several payments it has become a way of life. lisaMakT
Because they are already compensated that is why, it is not about curbing the spread. When they were left out last time on looting, they were too vocal and now they wont be supporting. Wow!!! same as those VulaPresident.
It’s called “raising the ladder”. A well established corporate strategy to play along with government bureaucracy and regulation because they know it prevents smaller operations from ever getting big enough to compete with them.
They won’t be supporting festive celebrations. They will only sell liquor that people will consume t their celebrations 😢
They have to stop their ads on tv !!!
