So now by requirement women should be on boards instead of earning it by merit? And will there be a requirement to have more women working on construction sites, as garbage men, mechanics, plumber's? Or is it just the non labor jobs? That's really equality and diversity I see!
Surely equality of opportunity is the aim, not equality of numbers. This will improve the statistics but will truly do nothing for women's rights.
Political or corporate positions must be based in the objective capabilities of individuals, not in gender.
Who immediately went on maternity leave...
Will a male who identifies as female on days the board meets be acceptable? If not, why not? Will the women who are shoehorned onto boards be forced to work the same long hours as the men already there? If not, why not? Will all-women boards be forced to include a man? If not..
Women should be forced to do manual labour. Rough with the smooth
how sexist.
But what if they are not qualified for the job? Do they still need to be on the board?
This is the year.... This is vintage's year.... Cheers. J-L L. K
How about requiring workers on boards?
Why?
