The summit draws attendees from across the globe to explore what's next in tech, business, science and society.CEO Steve Ballmer said Thursday that he regretted not getting into cloud computing earlier.success in building a business around renting computing and storage resources to companies, governments and schools.
Yes....you failed
The best thing Blockhead Ballmer did was step down and let a real CEO run MSFT. I still remember the presentation where Ballmer was laughing at the original iPhone. What a clown....missed cellphone, missed tablet and missed cloud which were all seismic industry advances.
If Microsoft had an ounce of innovation - & they don’t - then they would’ve founded the cloud computing market. It’s rather embarrassing that a non-tech company originated it. But don’t worry, your 4 decade monopoly will survive as you continue to squash smart small cos. Slackers
when he says 'cloud computing' I think he means 'mobile phones' :)
Lol
Says the man with no vision ... I wish I had purchased 86-DOS with my mom's contacts at IBM, but there you go...
satyanadella picked up the slack.
Ballmer should write a book about how to ruin a successful company and still profit from it.
Sarah like every other CNBC host can’t fucking wait for bitcoin to collapse. Why don’t you all just buy some and stop trying to manipulate the fucking price.
The only thing he did for Microsoft was Windows Vista....
