Minister of Public Safety and Emergency Preparedness Bill Blair responds to a question during question period in the House of Commons on Parliament Hill in Ottawa on Dec. 11, 2020.
Blair says he can only make assumptions because the arrangement was put in place in 2008, under the previous Conservative government. He says the information is handled according to Canada’s privacy laws, that no application or biometrically collected data is stored at the centre and that all databases containing personal information are located in Canada.
Right.....and it's 2021 and the only people responsible are the Liberals in power right now. You can take this sorry excuse and stuff it
Leaders lead, they take responsibility for their oversight. They don’t cast blame and point fingers for failures under their watch.
Still blaming Harper, they have the power to change the situation and they do not, blame a guy who has been out of politics for gee 8 years, come on.
Six years in power. Stop blaming others for your adherence to the CCP.
jmt_18325 It is honestly stunning the amount of harper era turds we keep finding hidden away at places.
Yes it absolutely was a mistake that this contract was ever signed by the conservatives. That being said, the liberals did nothing to end it. They share just as much as the blame in my eyes.
jmt_18325 Hey erinotoole!!! If you think China is such a threat why did YOU approve of this deal? Your CPC_HQ while you were Cabinet Minister sold out Canada to China with FIPA in secret. Did you sell out Canada to China again with his deal?
More fallout of Harper's disasterous, or some might call traitorous, FIPA agreement with China.
Isn't it the Ministers responsibility to be informed? Did all the documents get shredded? 🤔
Contract was renewed in 2018 cdnpoli
So for the past six years, no re-evaluation of Sino-Can relations, and blame it on a government 12 years ago. Smart comment by Blair...makes him look really incompetent.
