That’s exactly what holiday markets are here for – that and supporting Irish makers, of course.If you haven’t heard of Killruddery yet, it is a family-owned, 17th-century estate in Bray, a heritage house and gardens with a sustainable and bio-diverse farm, Grain Store Restaurant, Farm Shop and Garden Centre and regular Saturday farmer’s market.
And this holiday season, the estate has magically transformed its open-air Horse Yard into a winter wonderland with local vendors selling a range of Irish-made fare, street food and crafts.this weekend as well as Wednesday, December 22, and Thursday, December 23, from 10am to 5pm.All stallholders are local makers and producers, and they alternate weekly.
Guests will dine in grandeur in the Grain Store Restaurant beside a log fire. Expect an à la carte menu , accompanied by a wine list of organic, biodynamic and natural wines and warming winter cocktails – ideal for a sophisticated dinner date or as a Christmas gift for the foodie in your life.
