The Mpumalanga Department of Education has confirmed that the marking of matric scripts for the 2021 academic year has been completed. The department says there were no incidents reported during marking. SABCNews

It says the process is now in the hands of Umalusi to certify the results.

The spokesperson for the department, Jasper Zwane says the COVID-19 pandemic contributed to the late release of the results.
