Rebundle's CEO on building a plant-based hair-extension business

Rebundle's braid extensions in black.The brand's first product, Braid Better — lightweight, comfortable, itch-free, and biodegradable hair extensions —launched in January 2021. Since then, Rebundle has raised a $1.4 million pre-seed round, acquired several thousand repeat customers, and grown to a six-person team, including cofounder Danielle Washington. The extensions, which are sold on the company's website, cost between $20 and $30.
