Roslinda Sajirin, 31, who was trapped in the sundry shop, was rescued unhurt by firemen who managed to put out the blaze and prevent it from spreading to other adjacent buildings in the city's central market area.
According to a Sabah Fire and Rescue Services Department spokesman, the two fishing boats docked along the jetty were completely destroyed while about 30% of the sundry shop was razed.
