“It is changing the way we live, work and play. Whether or not we are prepared for this digital transformation, the new technology is becoming pervasive and are integrated into our daily lives,” said Deputy Minister of Communications and Multimedia Datuk Zahidi Zainul Abidin at the recent APAC DNS Forum 2022 launch ceremony held at Le Meridien Putrajaya.
The forum was organised with the objectives to share and exchange knowledge as well as explore collaboration among the DNS and the wider technology community in the APAC region. Jia-Rong Low, vice president for stakeholder engagement and managing director of ICANN APAC, said: “The future of the DNS depends on the interplay between markets, technologies, as well as stakeholders. A unified Internet will enable us to unleash its endless benefits of innovation and possibility for all.
“From the industry data that we have seen, digital adoption rates are years ahead of where they were before the pandemic.
