lost 200,000 subscribers during its most recent quarter — a major setback for the streaming giant that has seen exponential user growth over the past decade — as the company disclosed that it fell far short of its own low expectations of 2.5 million subscriber adds for the start of 2022.
The streaming giant lost subscribers in nearly every region except for the Asia Pacific market, where it saw a net add of over 1 million subscribers. Netflix lost around 640,000 subscribers in the U.S./Canada region during the first quarter —than its previous subscriber loss in the region last year — and saw a 300,000 subscriber loss in Europe, the Middle East and Africa and 350,000 loss in Latin America.
Go ahead w/the ad supported tier... watch the numbers keep dropping.
Well that may help you make money but it won't pull in subscribers.
Netflix’s growth declines in tandem with its quality decline.
Zeitgeist of the early Netflix House of Cards era is long gone.. Maybe go Poach key executives from NBC’s Peacock and HBO.. They’re beating you on content quality.

Adjust your pricing, no Ads. You have great new content netflix but not $20 a month great content.
lol they give money to Sandler, Johnson, and Reynolds, all with budget movies of 180-200 million and are all trash. They cut the cord on their good shows but spend millions on trash movies
Go poach key executives from NBC’s Peacock and HBO.. They’re beating you on content quality.
Maybe not spend $400M+ for 2 knivesout sequels?
seems when go all diversify crazy & woke you end up broke. Netflix were one of those that cowered to BLM. when you show weakness you will suffer the consequences.
Over years Netflix has had an excellent approach - both quantitative and qualitative. However, they should adopt theatrical releases for some of their big budget films like RebelMoon to serve as an additional revenue stream netflix I expect million in my account for this idea.
“The streamer will also be “pulling back” some of its content spending over the next two years to increase its revenue growth.” Oh. Jeez. So they believe the answer to attract MORE subscribers is to offer LESS incentive to join? Brilliant.
Maybe stop making obscene deals with producers and then constantly increasing subscription fees for customers
Too many price hikes. A lot of the programs on Netflix are not even worth watching or paying for. For every good show or movie there are plenty of bad ones.
