TransLink is turning to real estate development as a way to bring in the money it needs for expansion plans, as it deals with the impact of years of decreased ridership.

TransLink's ridership hasn't bounced back since the sudden dip prompted by the spread of COVID-19, and the company estimates that it'll be dealing with the effects of the pandemic for years to come.that the uncertainty about its financial future had it looking for long-term solutions.

How is it even possible? Maybe the price is through the roof and people can't afford it? Did anyone look into it?
