Philomena Begley's husband Tom quit the music business because he 'had enough'

Philomena Begley first met her husband Tom Quinn through the music scene, when they were both members of the Old Cross Céilí Band.

They started off playing barn dances, before moving on to jiving and country music, and played venues around the US including New York and Nashville.Philomena told RSVP Country magazine: "Tony Loughman, Tom and myself formed the Rambling Men and for a couple of years it was flat to the mat, we were working every night.""There was no big romance or anything, I was just beside him in the car and we spent a lot of time together with the band," she explained.
