If there’s a car that makes electric power look completely normal, the Skoda Enyaq is that car. It’s typical Skoda, in that it’s a slightly sober-looking SUV, with little to give away what lies beneath.
There is a vast amount of space inside, no matter whether you’re in the front or the back, and the boot is massive. It’s brisk rather than rapid, but it’s comfortable enough both in town and on faster roads, although fun is decidedly off the menu; the hefty kerb weight sees to that. Still, the official range is 256 miles, which should be more than enough for most drivers, on most days.
On top of that, an annual BIK bill of just £148 – if you're a 20% tax payer – is a real bargain when you consider all of the car it gets you.
