Andy Greenwood, vice president of development for Macerich, declined to disclose the cost of the next phase of renovations but added that it would be"significant" and less than the first round of renovations,"As we started to garner more demand from a retailer perspective, you start to create that snowball, and pretty soon, you've got a project," Greenwood said.
"There's nothing like it within 200 miles," Greenwood said of Fashion Square mall."If a retailer wants to come to Phoenix and is willing to make that kind of capital investment, Scottsdale is generally at the top of the list.
