A long-time Jacksonville contractor has struck out on his own, with his new company's first project underway near Jacksonville International Airport.
Fansler Construction is underway on The Note apartments, a 290-unit complex on Hyatt Road off Max Leggett Parkway. The company is led by Jason Fansler, a Jacksonville resident with more than 20 years of experience in the industry. Just over a decade ago, Fansler was president of Greenleaf Construction, in Fernandina Beach.
The company he started will serve as general contractor on the $49.6 million project, which will have three four-story buildings containing one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments. The Note is being developed by Chance Partners, the company behind projects such as The Jack on Beach,
