Karen Hoffman Tepper didn't know what she wanted to be when she grew up.
"I had never in a million years anticipated that I would be doing the kind of work that I'm doing today," Tepper said. I have a Ph.D. in human development and thought I was going to be a college professor. And over time, I learned that helping to grow people in different ways was my passion. It's where I excel and where I was able to do the most good.
Before joining Terros Health, Tepper served as chief executive officer of Acumen Fiscal Agent and spent a dozen years with the University of Arizona, providing training and technical assistance to organizations that support children, youth, and families to live healthier and more productive lives. I'm learning something new every single day. And the most important lesson has been about being open to that learning, open to that growth, and open to hearing from other people.
