to the President’s Advisory Council for Doing Business in Africa in 2019 by Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross.
In an August 2011 email to Hunter Biden with the subject line “RE: OAS – John Nevergole,” OAS referring to a Brazilian construction firm, former Rosemont Seneca Advisors President Eric Schwerin praises Nevergole as a business relationship that “can bear fruit” amid a discussion about his compensation.
John Nevergole landed Commerce Department appointments under both the Trump and Biden administrations. During Nevergole’s relationship with Rosemont Seneca Advisors, it appears he maintained his role as CEO of the ABD Group, a company he co-founded that leads investments and projects in Africa.
Nevergole later emailed Biden and Schwerin telling them that it “was good to meet BHR” and that he would like to “catch up” when he returned from a trip to China and “go over some ideas on how we can work together overall on the China initiative.”AP
