KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 21 — Twitter Business announced that they have rolled out Twitter Blue for Business, described as “ a new way for businesses and their affiliates to verify and distinguish themselves on Twitter”.
“We are taking Twitter Blue’s rollout as an opportunity to further enhance and distinguish businesses on Twitter. When they do, affiliated accounts will get a small badge of their parent company’s profile picture next to their blue or gold checkmark,” wrote Twitter Business. It also explained that the plan allows companies to mark brands or people affiliated with them with a square logo. For example, Twitter employees get a square Twitter logo next to their display names.
