for the purchase of 28 new instruments for the school’s band. This gesture is just the latest for Cook, who remains close to his Alabama roots even as Apple soars to new heights: earlier this year, Apple was the first company to reach $3 trillion in market value.
And he’s has stayed involved with Auburn and his other alma mater, Duke University, from which he received an MBA in 1988. Last year, he spoke with the Auburn University football team ahead of that year’s Iron Bowl, and he serves on the board of trustees for Duke. Cook urges his employees to donate to causes in their community and created a company program to match the donations. He earns close to $100 million a year in compensation from Apple, though he has pledged to donate most of his wealth to charity.
And it’s why Apple has not been the same since Jobs passed away. Sad. It could have been a revolutionary company. GowokeGobroke
If Apple really cared about the ⚧️ community, they would have never dropped the rainbow Apple logo for the all white one we have now. Just saying..
Wow I thought Steve handed him a golden apple.
I'm not really an Apple guy but this man grew his company to become the first trillion dollar business in history. He's about as good of an example of Alabama as you could hope for. And yet people at home will dismiss him for being gay and liberal. Shameful and sad.
AL.commie promoting these deviants as moral is a joke. This is disgusting and shameful to pander to this sicko lifestyle
