A Tempe coffee shop that promotes itself as a safe space for the LGBTQ community temporarily shut down a drag storytelling event Sunday morning due to a reported bomb threat.
Sunday morning, they prepared to welcome guests for the storytelling event at 10 a.m. which they expected to be at or almost full capacity. Officers were already on scene at Brick Road Coffee when the threat was made, and there were no injuries or bombs located, according to police. "A lot of tears were shed," said an attendee of the in-person event, Amber Lewis."The idea that someone would hurt a room full of babies and children is horrific."

Seems a lot of people in the comments are disappointed the bomb wasn’t real.
