On Wednesday, Intel announced it was slashing its dividend by nearly 66%, to 12.5 cents per share from 36.5 cents. The new annualized dividend yield is 4.20%, down from 7.13%. The latest dividend is payable June 1 to shareholders on record as of May 7.
