ZTE, a Chinese smartphone brand, has forayed into the Philippine market, targeting to gain as much as 5 percent of the competitive sector through the introduction of two of its smartphone series on Tuesday.
“We initiated our plan [to enter the Philippine smartphone market] late last year and our target at the end of this year we’ll cover 1.2 percent of the share. In the next year our plan is to reach 5 percent market share,” he said.The Blade Series, which comes in three different variants, targets customers that are willing to shell out between P7,999 to P11,999.
The RedMagic Series, which targets online gamers, is a flagship device that retails between P42,999 and P53, 999.
