HARTFORD, Conn. — Connecticut on Tuesday sued four gun companies — including one in Utah — it accused of mailing illegal firearm parts with no serial numbers to an undercover state investigator, the latest legal filing by states and cities seeking to crack down on untraceable ghost guns.
"Ghost guns are an untraceable menace that exist for one reason — to evade law enforcement and registration," Tong said. "They are a threat to public safety, and they are illegal in Connecticut." Connecticut joins other states and cities that have sued gun companies over ghost guns, including San Francisco, New York and New York City.
I'm surprised the Kingstons at desert tech haven't gotten caught.
I assume the Utah AG, will step in and defend the Utah Manufacturer.
Bankrupt em
Good I hope they win
Bring it on. I hope it goes to the supreme court.
I hope they go under
80% lowers are NOT 'firearm parts'. That's the whole point: they are, legally speaking, just hunks of metal.
They're going after these manufacturers because they're small.
It's another Liberal shart.
Do you know what has killed far more than my gun (that has never killed anything or anyone). Dr. Fauci, when he funded the creation of Covid 19.
Uh.. guns aren't really traceable anyways.
Screw CT, the defendants are heroes
Unless I missed something. 80% lowers were legal up until very recently and it’s still being battled out in the courts.
So when can big pharma get sued for bad products they send out? This goes for all of them, especially those that are easily addicted to!
