Ramaphosa was responding to questions in the National Assembly on Thursday when Scopa chairperson Mkhuleko Hlengwa asked about his bloated cabinet.
Ramaphosa guaranteed that the plan to streamline government departments, entities and programmes would happen in the next three years. “The entities that are now overseen by the ministry of public enterprises will revert to their departments,” said Ramaphosa. Ramaphosa mentioned that he trimmed the number of ministries down from 34 in 2019 to 30. He added that the increase is a temporary measure to address pressing issues — such as the electricity crisis.
“There are departments that lend themselves to being merged so that we have a much more efficient executive with fewer ministries. This is work in progress,” he said.
Your Corrupt Party will also not see the Light of Day as they will be under 46% under your Watch.
One can only hope that the corrupt ANC ceases to exist after the elections
A bloated cabinet means more votes comes 2024 for Cyril and the Anc.
Destroying the country and boosting about it. Somebody tell him he must stop talking about the future that he won't be part of
And the ANC will cease to exist. 🙏🙏🙌🙌
We have such a department?
The whole political system is going to cease to exist
So will you , as I see it now . Since you are predicting the future , thought I’d give it a try myself .
Because they know they have R254 billion to chow. That one that's supposed to be Eskom's debt relief
Before all this happens ,prime minister pravin must be held to account for his dodgy SAA sale
Meaning all public enterprise will be sold
Can the Minister of Public Enterprise make public the SAA deal papers first please?
What is that anyway
I do not want to vote for the ANC. However I do not see another alternative. I might end up not voting. DA, FF Plus and Action SA will never get my vote. EFF will never get my vote because of their open boarder policy.
Who told him that he would still be President
And another 3 departments will replace it
Not the department but the actual public enterprises themselves, the regime change that the ANC thinks is crafted by 3rd forces is actually being executed under their name with their full support while they sing remo rata kaofela thinking it's all fun and games😏
Hopefully so will the ANC
Another blessed feature. l am so proud of myself for this moment. A huge appreciation to Brandonkaren11 for helping me through Bitcoin mining investment !!
Could have done so in 2009. Would not have made a difference except for saving on salaries, bonuses, free flights, accomodation and entertainment, VIP protection and Range Rovers.
just keep your mate in a job for another year at the taxpayers expense. Close it down now.
Many things are going to cease after 2024 elections, that's include ANC itself.
It's immaterial
His so sure of winning
So will the ANC.

Taxman says Cyril Ramaphosa and his companies are tax compliantThe SA Revenue Service (Sars) on Tuesday confirmed President Cyril Ramaphosa and his companies, Ntaba Nyoni Estate and Ntaba Nyoni Feedlot, are tax compliant. When did that happen cos the undeclared money in foreign currency was hidden at his farm? Was it b4 or after the incident? If b4 then why didn't Cyril declare em days after? SARS is Mustafarin us. A fugitive from Sudan via Dubai brought undeclared US Dollars to PhalaPhala. What Sars is doing is totally irrelevant and shows bias. We just wanna know if he declared the dollars. We dont know about his complaint status
