In a world where work often dominates most of our waking hours, it can be difficult to find the motivation to keep going when things start piling up and life gets in the way of living.
So, in 2014 Tracy launched her own business, Created By The Ridleys. After months of travelling to and from different craft fairs and shows, the business hit a huge turning point in 2016 at the Wolsingham Agricultural Show, when a fellow stallholder suggested that Tracy should incorporate Harris Tweed into the design of her handbags.
Remembering the experience, Tracy said: "The lady asked for a selection of the whole range. When I started filling in her address, it was a shop in the Outer Hebrides. From hipflask jackets to hand-poured candles, Tracy only uses British fabrics and buys what she needs from British suppliers, making sure to use as much of the material as possible to avoid any waste. Tracy said: "The emphasis for us is British. We use British materials and craftsmanship and source everything we can within the UK."
