In the debate surrounding the latest legislation aimed at curtailing gun violence in Washington state, April Schentrup, a mom who lost a child to gun violence, testified before the house appropriations committee in favor of Senate Bill 5078.
The bill, "Prohibits firearm industry members from knowingly creating, maintaining, or contributing to a public nuisance; and from designing, selling, and marketing firearm industry products that promote conversion of legal products into illegal products, or which target minors or individuals prohibited from purchasing or possessing firearms."
The Senior Policy Advisor on Public Safety to the Governor says individuals would also be able to take steps on their own to hold the industry accountable. Although Washington's Office of Firearm Safety and Violence doesn't get involved in decisions on bills like 5078, the executive director says there has been a push for stronger firearm laws nationwide.
The 2023 legislature will be the laughingstock of the nation when every bill they pass is enjoined by the judiciary.
I guess guns shoot by themselves.
You want to see how western society looks when it's been disarmed? Look at Australia and Canada, they can deploy cops that are thugs to forward tyranny anytime they want without reprisal.
Can we sue a match maker if their product was used in an arson?
Looks like I’ll be suing Ford for the crash I was in. Toyota for the 2 crashes my wife was in and Pontiac for the ticket I got for speeding. Whoo hoo!
Fing ridiculous

Shows how low brow our blue state politicians are. They first create, and then propose legislation to curb, these issues. A cycle that is an attack on fundamental human rights guaranteed by our Constitution. It erodes the U.S.
