He told delegates at the annual Investment Conference in Sandton on Thursday that this will help solve the electricity crisis.

"The Minister in the Presidency for Electricity, with the support of the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy, the Department of Public Enterprises and the National Energy Crisis Committee, is overseeing the implementation of this plan."The president also announced the R1.2 trillion investment target set five years ago has been reached.
