, DiBiase Jr. is facing “one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and commit theft concerning programs receiving fderal funds, six counts of wire fraud, two counts of theft concerning programs receiving federal funds, and four counts of money laundering.”
That does seem like a lot, and apparently a lot of money is involved because the site said the state is demanding DiBiase Jr. return $3.9 million. Per the report, if he is convicted DiBiase Jr. faces up to five years in prison for the conspiracy charge, and up to 20 years for each wire fraud charge. He also faces up to 10 years on each theft charge.
