The new brand, Baffin Seafood, was unveiled at the Seafood Expo Global 2023 in Spain. It will act as a broker for the international sale of Baffin Fisheries' cold-water seafood products. Rick Lambe, who has been chief operating officer and sales director at Baffin Fisheries, will transition to the role of CEO for Baffin Seafood.
Lambe said the company will work with experts in Newfoundland and Labrador and Denmark to sell its products directly to large distributors worldwide. These distributors, in turn, will sell to grocers and restaurants.
