Papa John's International on Tuesday reported quarterly earnings and revenue that fell short of analysts' expectations. Shares of the company rose 4 percent in extended trading. Excluding items, the pizza chain earned 15 cents per share, falling short of the 17 cents per share expected by analysts. Net sales fell 20 percent to $374.0 million, missing expectations of $390.1 million.
It’s going to take years before they get back to previous earnings growth. P/e is too high and will continue to deflate over the next 24 months. Domino’s is overvalued too.
