Seoul — K-pop star The Great Seungri, 28, is facing accusations of having been an active member of an online group chat which shares sexually intimate videos of different women without their consent.
In news updates, Seoul District Police announced that they have received several testimonials supporting claims against Seungri’s illegal activities. On Seungri’s national service enlistment and his reported request for a delay, the police explain that the Military Manpower Administration would look consider the request. Police investigations on his criminal charges will continue whether he enlists or not, with police to send the MMA a compliance request.In January this year, a popular Korean broadcaster showed footage of a male customer at the upmarket Seoul nightclub Burning Sun being led out by security officers.
South Korea considers prostitution as illegal. If convicted, Seungri will be charged with three years of imprisonment. The Korean superstar initially denied the allegations.
