Rumble Africa Promotions to host boxing tournament in E Cape via SABCNewsOnline

IBF Intercontinental Junior Lightweight Azinga Fuzile Azinga Fuzile will be headlining the tournament.

Nelson Mandela Bay boxing lovers can expect a feast as Rumble Africa Promotions will be bringing a boxing tournament in the city on April the 7at Nangoza Jebe Hall in Port Elizabeth. The East London-based Rumble Africa Promotions officially launched the tournament at Summerstrand in Port Elizabeth earlier on Sunday.

Headlining the tournament will be IBF Intercontinental Junior Lightweight Azinga Fuzile, who will defend his title against Mexican, Romulo Koasachi. The tournament will have eight bouts. Rumble Africa Promotions Promoter, Terris Ntuthu, says they brought the tournament to PE in honour of the late former World Champion Mzukisi Sikal.

“Because we have noted that all the other boxers in the province have been celebrated but not this one. So, we thought as Rumble Africa Promotions, let’s celebrate his life; let’s celebrate what he did for boxing in this province as well as the country. We are also trying to revive boxing as well here in Port Elizabeth. This place used to compete with East London. You know, East London is a mecca of boxing. It used to compete with East London.
