Snake on a rail! Python found curled up on curtain rod at Durban business

A 3m-long Southern African python was found wrapped around a curtain rail inside a room in Inanda Valley business in Durban a few weeks ago, and renowned reptile catcher Nick Evans was called out to the property to collect it.

Evans said he received a distress call from an employer at the property informing him of the snake that was first found outside the premises. The security guard had managed to carefully and bravely get the snake into the room, where he locked it until Evans arrived. "I had done an awareness talk there sometime back, so they knew not to kill snakes, especially pythons," said Evans.South Africans need to be in the know if we want to create a prosperous future.
