College graduation ceremonies this time of year remind me of my own graduation from the University of Colorado in 1997.

The most difficult part of investing is staying rational when you get punched in the face by the markets. Understanding the emotions that losses and gains evoke in you and dealing with them is incredibly valuable.

As a grad,I joined my city’s alum club. In a few months, they held a seminar led by invstmt advisor. She presented just-right details of two stks each in a diff industry. I put 1k in the one I knew. Took 7yrs to 10x my money.

Should say: get a job that pays, then instead of wasting your money on Banana Republic chinos and Wall Mart booze, invest in Bitcoins.
